Black Springs Golf Club, Mackay
Black Springs Golf Club is situated on Temples Lane, Bakers Greek just 6 km south of Mackay. The par 70 course which has been constructed on 65 acres of land, features nine holes with dual tees on numbers 2, 7 and 9. The course is mainly on level ground with many features including a billabong and melaleucas forest. Fairways are Greenleas turf and greens are Bermuda 328, ensuring a high quality of play throughout the year, plus water features on every hole – kept irrigated by manmade dams. Mackay Golf Club
The Mackay Golf Club resides on Queensland’s central coast, and is described as the ‘Jewel of the North’. The golf course is an easily walkable 18 holes, and provides a challenge to all levels of players. The club has received awards for the high quality of the course, and has been voted number one Country Course in Queensland. The par 71 course is 5777 metres long and features tree-lined ‘blue couch’ fairways and Bermuda 328 greens, as well as some tricky bunkers and two large dams.
